- Hi, I have a Fastlane Z3 SCSI-2 controller on my A3000. At first it did not
- work at all, so I upgraded my SuperBuster chip from rev. 7 to rev. 11, and now
- it seems to work (well, sort of..)
-
- I have ROM 3.1 (40.68) / WB 3.1 (40.42), SCSI-04, DMAC-02, Ramsey-04, with 12Mb
- RAM on the motherboard (SCZIPs) and 2 Mb CHIP RAM... No RAM on the Fastlane...
- And a 2Gb Digital DSP3210 harddrive connected to the fastlane internally. The
- fastlane is terminated and the HD is terminated (I think). The internal SCSI HD
- could be terminated (How do I check? Its a maxtor 213Mb, btw) while the
- motherboard is not...
-
-
- OK, let's get to the problem:
-
- I can read from the drive alright, but when I try to write to the drive (on
- fastlane), it screws up the file and usually screws up the directory table.
- The drive works fine on the standard scsi controller (internal), and I've
- tried other (friend's) harddrive on the Fastlane with the same results, so
- the HD seems to be fine...
-
-
- Anyone has any idea what am I doing wrong or missing, or suggestions on
- where / what to check? BTW, I have Fastlane software revision 1.4.0.

- Thanks much..
